This idyllic homestay is in a little nook by itself atop a hill, insulated from the steady din of the city center, in spite of being at a very comfortable distance from it. So soaking up the panoramic views of the Aravali and expansive farm-lands while lazing in the plunge pool could well end up being a rather resonant soliloquy. Most importantly, Jyoti is an utterly marvelous cook (people are known to have reached Devra just by following delicious smells, rather than using Google maps ;)). Guests are well advised, therefore, to be prepared to treat gluttony as a temporary virtue if they wish to be under her hospitality.
The Major is an ardent birder and naturalist, and of course has deep knowledge of his city’s history and geography. Long walks and talks with him will keep you wired for more and sated enough to want to clink a glass or two of fortifying beverages with him, with a golden sunset as the background.

Great Stay
We a group of 14 individuals had stayed at Devra for two nights. The property is madly flawless and tranquil. The administration was extremely noteworthy and food was out of the world, especially butter chicken – must try Devra Udaipur Heritage Hotel !!
